With his projected start for the Maple Leafs, Michael Pezzetta will become the third active (along with Max Domi and Sammy Blais), and 115th overall, player to suit up for both the Maple Leafs and Canadiens, spending four seasons and 200 games with Montréal before signing with his hometown Maple Leafs in 2025.

Our condolences go out to the family, friends and fans of Jim Morrison, who passed away today at the age of 94. A veteran of twelve NHL seasons, seven of them in Toronto, Morrison would be named an All-Star three times in his time with the blue & white from 1952-58, notching 19 points in 81 career regular season games against Montréal.

Our condolences go out to the family, friends and fans of Phil Goyette, who passed away today at the age of 92. A veteran of sixteen NHL seasons, seven of them in Montréal, Rousseau would capture four consecutive Stanley Cups (1957-60) with his hometown Canadiens, notching 24 points in 75 career regular season games against Toronto, along with another 4 points in 11 playoff meetings between the rivals.
