By comparison with the Maple Leafs on Saturday night they were painfully slow, but speed isn’t much use if it doesn’t bring goals, and in spite of the fact that the Leafs outskated them, outshot them and outplayed them by a considerable margin, the Canadiens won the game 1 to 0.
