Our condolences go out to the family, friends and fans of esteemed journeyman defender Larry Hillman, who today passed away at the age of 85. Hillman, a six-time Stanley Cup Champion, captured the title four times with the Maple Leafs (1962, 1963, 1964, 1967) and once with the Canadiens (1969), just two of the eight NHL teams he would play for in his over 20 year career. As one of the 96 skaters to play for both Toronto and Montréal, Hillman would only play in one game of the rivalry as a Canadien, but over his eight seasons as a Leaf, Hillman would notch 14 points in 53 regular season games against the Habs, with another four points in 15 career playoff games.
