Our condolences go out to the family, friends and fans of Maple Leafs legend Borje Salming, who today succumbed to ALS at the age of 71. Salming, amongst the first Europeans to debut in the NHL, setting the stage for the global league we know today, notched 31 points in 51 career rivalry games vs. Montréal between 1973-89, along with four playoff games in the 1979 Stanley Cup Quarterfinals.
